Pilates for Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation

We all know that Pilates is great for building your core strength and flexibility, but did you know that your regular Pilates practice can help you prevent future injuries, and rehabilitate old ones?

I have been practicing and teaching Pilates for over 16 years now, and have been privy to witness so many small and large improvements in my client’s overall wellness, just by doing the work consistently. Clients come to me from all backgrounds, and some of their bodies have been through so much (which is just life sometimes). I have worked with people who have had spinal injuries, disc degeneration, scoliosis, osteoporosis and more. Lots of knee and hip replacements too.

It is incredible what our bodies can go through, and yet still be able to function and thrive! Pilates can help with balance issues that might arise from neurological dysfunctions, muscular weakness, or neuropathy. I have pretty much seen it all!

The part of my job that I love the most is helping people get out of pain, and create a customized and collaborative program to help them build back their strength, balance, and comfortable mobility.

We only have one body in which to reside, so let’s make it as comfortable and functional as possible! Feel free to contact me if you think you would like to get out of pain, find more comfort and start living your best life!
